PROBLEMS OF INTERLINGUAL EQUIVALENCE IN THE TRANSLATION OF NON-EQUIVALENT LEXIS

The article addresses the problem of interlingual equivalence in the translation of non-equivalent lexis as one of the most complex and debatable issues in contemporary translation theory. The evolution of approaches to equivalence is examined, ranging from formal-structural models to functional-semantic and cognitively oriented interpretations of this phenomenon. Particular attention is paid to non-equivalent lexis as a manifestation of cultural and cognitive asymmetry between languages, reflecting differences in the conceptualization of social, institutional, and cultural reality.本文探讨了当代翻译理论中最复杂且最具争议的议题之一：非等值词汇翻译中的跨语言等值问题。本文考察了等值研究路径的演变脉络，涵盖形式-结构模型、功能-语义模型以及认知导向的该现象阐释范式。研究特别关注作为语言间文化与认知不对称表现的非等值词汇，这类词汇反映出不同语言在社会、制度及文化现实的概念化层面所存在的差异。
