Hydrography — ETH

The hydrographic repository consists of all the hydrographic entities represented in the Carthage® BD.

The Carthage® (database on thematic mapping of water agencies and the Ministry responsible for the environment) is the result of a national desire to have a spatial tracking system for surface aquatic environments for France. It is produced by the Water Agencies from the IGN’s BD CARTO ® cartographic database, which describes in numerical form all the information present in the national territory. It is updated annually according to a cycle involving water agencies and the IGN.

Carthage® BD is free of charge for any third party in non-commercial use.
