Chumathang Hot Spring- Water and soil sample Metagenome
收藏资源简介:
The Chumathang high-altitude geothermal springs in Ladakh, India are of undeniable interest for microbiological studies due to their unique, extreme environmental conditions. The objective of this study was to provide a comprehensive analysis of the unexplored bacterial and archaeal community composition, structure, and networks in water and soil from the Chumathang geothermal spring using a culture-independent sequencing method. These will make it possible for us to gain a better understanding of the microbial metabolisms that are common at these geothermal locations, which have a lot of potential for biotechnological applications. They will also enable us to establish links between the composition of the microbial community and the physicochemical environment of geothermal water and area.
