Laos (2005): Barriers and Motivations on VCT among High Risk Groups (FSW, migrant workers and Transgender) In Savannakhet Province

The general objective of this study is to identify barriers and motivations of the SVK VCT center among target respondents: MSM, FSW, and Katoey. Examine level of awareness of VCT sites and services among the target populations among users and non-users of VCT services. Ascertain perceptions and attitudes about quality, accessibility, and confidentiality of VCT services among users and non-users of VCT services. Understand motivational triggers for VCT use among users of sites and services. Study perceived benefits and barriers to utilization of VCT services among target groups of users and non-users of VCT services. Explore perceptions and attitudes about knowing one's HIV serostatus among users of VCT
