VPRS 11171 Outward Letters and Engineer's Reports

This series recorded reports of the Trust/District Engineer to the Commissioners of the Swan Hill Irrigation and Water Supply Trust (to 1906) and to the State Rivers and Water Supply Commission (VA 723, from 1906). The Engineer, Secretary and Collector of the Trust (from 1906, the Swan Hill Irrigation District of the State Rivers and Water Supply Commission) also used the series to keep copies of outward letters.The exact responsibilities of these Trust officers have not been researched. However, from 1906 the District Engineer was effectively the officer in charge of the District.
