BRUVS deployments in Timor Sea Banks and Shoals (Montara 4)

Stereo Baited Remote Underwater Video Stations (BRUVS) were successfully deployed and retrieved at each of the 3 shoals (Baracuda East , Goeree Shoal, Vulcan Shoal). Deployments were restricted to 250 m. In general 24 stereo BRUVS were deployed at each shoal.
This project is a co-investment between PTTEPAA and AIMS, in order to build scientific knowledge on a number of shoal features in the area near Montara and was undertaken between 19/9/16 - 24/9/16.

研究团队在3处沙洲（巴拉库达东滩、戈里沙洲、伏尔甘沙洲）均成功布设并回收了立体诱饵式远程水下视频站（Stereo Baited Remote Underwater Video Stations，BRUVS）。所有布设作业均限定在250米范围内，通常每处沙洲会部署24台该类立体诱饵式远程水下视频站。
本项目为PTTEPAA与AIMS的联合投资项目，旨在获取蒙塔拉附近海域多处沙洲特征的相关科学认知，实施周期为2016年9月19日至2016年9月24日。
