Digital Archive from an Archaeological Excavation at Phase 5, Perrybrook, Brockworth, Gloucestershire 2019

This collection comprises images, GIS data and two project databases from a programme of archaeological investigation on land at Phase 5, Perrybrook, Brockworth, Gloucestershire. Work was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology between February and June 2019 at the request of Taylor Wimpey Bristol. The excavation produced evidence for activity during the late prehistoric and Roman periods, including a ring ditch of late prehistoric date, an Iron Age open settlement of roundhouses with associated pits and three Iron Age cremation burials. The later Roman period was represented by three inhumation burials and a scattered hoard of 4th-century AD coins.
