Supplementary Material - A Thousand Meters Deep: Vertical Profiling of the Subterranean Microbiome of Gourgouthakas Cave

Here we deposited the supplementary material of our work on the microbial isolates from Gourgouthakas cave (-1100 m depth). We isolated a total of 820 isolates from nine solid samples from the rock surface as shown in Figure 1 (see also supplementary material). We obtained the highest number of isolates on R2A (363 isolates), followed by NA1/2 (218), NA (137), and MNFMM (101). The majority of isolates grew at 28 °C (574 isolates), while 236 isolates grew at 5 °C, and 10 isolates grew at 5 °C but also showed growth at 28 °C.本研究附存了关于古尔古萨卡洞穴（Gourgouthakas Cave，深度-1100米）来源微生物分离株的相关补充材料。 本研究从岩石表面的9份固体样本中分离得到共计820株微生物分离株，具体信息如图1所示（详细内容参见补充材料）。在R2A培养基上获得的分离株数量最多，达363株，其次为NA1/2培养基（218株）、NA培养基（137株）与MNFMM培养基（101株）。 大部分分离株可在28℃条件下生长（共计574株）；236株分离株仅在5℃条件下可生长，另有10株分离株既可在5℃也可在28℃条件下生长。
