ELTE/DUTH Bacterial collection, whole genome sequences

A collection of bacterial isolates was compiled as part of collaboration between Democritus University of Thrace (Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Alexandroupolis, Greece) and ELTE Eötvös Loránd University (Department of Microbiology, Budapest, Hungary). The collection is maintained by Project Leader Dr. Sotiria Boukouvala (Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Democritus University of Thrace, Alexandroupolis, Greece). The whole genome sequences are provided for those isolates. Sequencing was performed using the Oxford Nanopore Technologies chemistry on a Minion flowcell. Basecalling was performed using both the Fast and Super Accurate (SUP) model, followed by de novo assembly.
