EVALUATION OF PHYSICAL, MECHANICAL, AND STATISTICAL PROPERTIES OF WHEAT SEEDS AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON SOWING TECHNOLOGIES

This study investigates the physical and mechanical properties of wheat seeds and their influence on sowing efficiency using statistical and experimental approaches. The geometric dimensions and mass of the seeds, along with their variance and coefficient of variation, were determined. The results indicate that low variability in seed size ensures stable seed flow, whereas high variability in mass negatively affects seed metering accuracy. The findings highlight the importance of considering seed properties in improving sowing performance.本研究采用统计与实验方法，探究小麦种子的物理力学特性及其对播种效率的影响。研究测定了种子的几何尺寸、质量，及其方差与变异系数。结果表明，种子尺寸的低变异性可保障稳定的种子流，而种子质量的高变异性则会对排种精度产生负面影响。本研究成果凸显了在优化播种作业性能时考量种子特性的重要性。
