Vertical Instability Example

This ensemble of 2D scalar field was constructed to demonstrate vertical instabilities in merge trees. It can be used to test merge tree distance metrics for stability against vertical branch swaps: a stable distance should exhibit noise-like behavior, an unstable one will show two clusters.本二维标量场集合旨在展示合并树（merge trees）中的垂直不稳定性。该数据集可用于测试合并树距离度量对垂直分支交换的稳定性：稳定的距离度量应呈现类噪声行为，不稳定的距离度量则会显现出两个聚类。
