The Yellow River Basin is an important ecological security barrier and economic zone in China. However, due to historical processes and economic development, the Yellow River wetlands have been continuously degraded and gradually replaced by large areas of forest land, bare land, and farmland. Under the significant strategic background of high-quality development of the Yellow River, conducting research on soil microbial diversity and coexistence mechanisms among different land use types in the Yellow River wetlands has important theoretical significance and practical value for the implementation of policies such as ecological restoration and returning farmland to wetlands in the Yellow River wetlands.The Yellow River Wetland in Henan Province is located at the boundary between the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River, and is a typical area of wetland degradation and human interference. This study focuses on different land use types in the Yellow River Wetland of Henan Province. Soil samples were collected from four different land use types (wetland, forest, bare land, and farmland), and high-throughput sequencing and FunGuild functional prediction were performed on the samples to compare and analyze the differences and driving factors of fungal community structure and diversity in different land types in the Yellow River Wetland.In summary, this study comprehensively examined four different land use types in the Yellow River wetlands of Henan Province, and deeply explored the impact of land use types on fungal community structure and diversity. It revealed the functions, distribution, and driving factors of fungi under different land types, and clarified the impact of different land use types on fungal coexistence mechanisms in the Yellow River wetlands. This study not only enhances our understanding of the impact of land type changes on fungal communities in the Yellow River wetland, but also provides an ecological basis and theoretical basis for formulating more scientific wetland protection and management strategies.
