Supplemental data for: Rabies antibody titres in imported dogs and a population of dogs residing in Ontario, Canada

The goal of developing these datasets was to investigate rabies antibody titres in dogs imported into Canada. The imported dog dataset was created by conducting rabies antibody titre testing (via Rabies Fluorescent Focus Inhibition Test (RFFIT)) in dogs, within a month of their arrival to Ontario, Canada, between 2021-2022. These results were compared to rabies antibody titres in a group of non-imported dogs that resided in Ontario, Canada. The non-imported dog dataset was obtained by searching records of the University of Guelph’s Animal Health Laboratory for dogs that had rabies antibody titre testing (either Fluorescent Antibody Virus Neutralization or RFFIT testing) done between 2013 – 2023.

本数据集的研发目标为探究进口至加拿大的犬只的狂犬病抗体滴度水平。进口犬数据集的构建方式为：于2021至2022年间，对抵达加拿大安大略省后1个月内的犬只开展狂犬病抗体滴度检测（采用狂犬病荧光焦点抑制试验（Rabies Fluorescent Focus Inhibition Test, RFFIT）），并将检测结果与另一组居住于加拿大安大略省的非进口犬的狂犬病抗体滴度水平进行对比。非进口犬数据集则通过检索圭尔夫大学动物健康实验室的档案获得，涵盖2013至2023年间接受过狂犬病抗体滴度检测（包括荧光抗体病毒中和试验或RFFIT试验）的犬只相关记录。
