The data were collected as part of a single-case experimental study with a multiple baseline design across participants entitled: “Effects of a Repeated Reading Intervention on the Reading Fluency of Adolescents with Intellectual Disability” conducted by F. Zourou, C. Martinet, Z. Portmann, M. Martinez & R. Sermier Dessemontet. This study examines the effects of an 8-week adapted RR intervention, on reading rate, i.e., correct words per minute (CWPM), and accuracy, i.e., errors per minute (EPM), in three adolescents with ID, as well as generalization of these effects to untrained texts. The study was conducted in a French-speaking region of Switzerland. Data were collected during the 2023-2024 school year, from October to April.
The dataset includes an .xlsx file (17ko), containing two sheets ‘Data’ and ‘Design' (ReadingFluencyDI_SingleCaseStudy_dataset.xlsx). Both sheets present the same raw data for each participant and each variable, but in a different disposition. A .pdf metadata file (ReadingFluencyDI_SingleCaseStudy_metadata.pdf) is also provided to facilitate data reuse and interpretation.
