Environmental data (air quality)

Air quality data for the period from 1.1.2016 to 4.12.2017 for 7 types of pollutants (ZL), which are regularly reported from the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute by a representative of the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic (MŽP SR) and the Environmental Authority.

With air quality data, it is important to realise that the network has been restored in recent years.
Measurements for some pollutants do not reach a history of two years, as they were added at a later date. For this reason, the attached tables are either blank cells or hyphens. Also, due to data validation, some values had to be deleted (i.e. gaps in values also for the station’s real operation).

To the tables in general: 1. The column contains the date, and the other columns contain the data for the individual stations at which the measurement takes place.

For the purposes of obligations towards the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic, we use either daily averages or 8-hour or 1-hour highs (description in the file name) for ZL variables.
