The Biological Validation Map (BWK) is a uniform inventory and evaluation of the entire territory of Flanders using a set of mapping units that stand for vegetation, land use and small landscape features (line and point shaped elements).The inventories for this version of the Biological Validation Map were also taken into account in the period 1978-1997. The maps have been digitalised and merged into a vector polygonen dataset for Flanders.
