A global analysis of replacement of genetic variants of SARS-CoV-2 in association with containment capacity and changes in disease severity

This data archive contains the data that supplement the manuscript in Clinical Microbiology and Infection titled “A global analysis of replacement of genetic variants of SARS-CoV-2 in association with containment capacity and changes in disease severity”. The data consist of the distribution of SARS-CoV-2 variant lineages by continents during the first 6 months of pandemic, and the International Health Regulation (IHR) Score, stringency index, and vulnerability index of countries that indicated containment capacity.
