Chalice’s AI Allocator is an application for matching the regional distribution of ad impressions to the physical distribution of product across a country or continent. AI Allocator improves sell-through of physical products by sending more ads wherever they are needed. It solves for misalignment caused by ecommerce algorithms in brick-and-mortar commerce. Ecommerce algorithms will send more ads wherever the advertiser’s products are selling well. AI Allocator sends more ads wherever products are selling poorly. The primary use-case is to support sales of perishable inventory such as packaged food, medicine, hotel rooms, or event tickets. It can also support auto dealerships, franchise restaurants, consumer electronics, and other retail sales.
