Genome of the inshore hagfish, Eptatretus burgeri. Inshore hagfish genome

Here we sequenced and assembled both the germ line genome and several somatic genomes of an single adult of the Japanese inshore hagfish, Eptatretus burgeri. We also provide transcriptomics data (RNA-seq) for 9 different adult tissues of the hagfish. The data generated in this study allowed us to study different Evo-Devo aspects of the hagfish, as well as gain insights into the evolution of vertebrate genome architecture.
