This dataset comprises detailed acoustic and compression metrics for original and EHCo-compressed audio signals used in evaluating the Enhanced Huffman Coding (EHCo) algorithm. Organized into two main categories\u2014original input audio data and reconstructed audio data\u2014the dataset spans a variety of audio classes, including medical (lung, heart, asthma sounds), environmental (train, traffic), and human speech samples.Each audio entry includes metadata such as length (in seconds), sampling rate (Hz), decibel levels, intensity classifications, frequency distributions, and structural complexity. Signal descriptors like mean spectral centroid, spectral bandwidth, and entropy are provided to characterize spectral content. For reconstructed audio, the dataset further includes compression performance metrics such as Adaptive Huffman Coding size (AHC ComSize), EHCo compression size, compression ratio (CR), mean squared error (MSE), total harmonic distortion (THD) for both input and output signals, THD difference, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), peak SNR (PSNR), and spectrogram references.This dataset enables in-depth analysis of hybrid audio compression performance across fidelity, efficiency, and perceptual quality dimensions, serving as a benchmark resource for future research in audio signal compression and processing.
