The project is supported logistically and technically by Nyamba Buru Yawuru, Department of Parks and Wildlife, Environs Kimberley and Society for Kimberley Indigenous Plants and Animals. Building on a previous collaborative weed mapping and management project in Minyirr Park this project will continue managing weeds in Minyirr and in other endangered Monsoon Vine Thickets on Yawuru country. The Green Army Team will target already mapped populations of key weed species (including Neem, Coffee Bush, Buffel Grass and Bellyache Bush), all of which pose an immediate and major threat to the health and resilience of the community. Works may also include monitoring of treated areas and natural/supplementary revegetation if required.
(Department of Parks and Wildlife)、金伯利环境协会(Environs Kimberley)以及金伯利本土动植物协会(Society for Kimberley Indigenous Plants and Animals)提供后勤与技术支持。
