1,260 articles collected from Google News and Yandex News from August 2024 - April 2025. On Google News, I collected the top 5 articles every Tuesday and Saturday at 7:30 pm (New York) in response to the queries 'Russia Ukraine' and 'Israel Palestine'. On Yandex News, I did the same, but at 7:30 pm (Moscow) and in response to the queries 'Россия Украина' and 'Израиль Палестина'.To minimize personalization, I used an incognito browser (Firefox), deleted cookies/history after each search, and used a VPN (CyberGhost) connected to New York for Google News and to Moscow for Yandex News. (The same process was also utilized to collect articles from Google News in London.Methodology standardized starting August 27, 2024.<br><br>Additionally, I collected articles for a number of pilot studies: top 10 articles on the home page, News Topics (instead of query), search engine (instead of news aggregator).
