This dataset contains individual-level biomass measurements collected in a controlled experiment designed to assess the effects of fire and species dominance on plant performance and competitive interactions between native and invasive species. The experiment included three dominance treatments: monoculture (mono), native dominance (30% <i>Urochloa arrecta</i>), and invasive dominance (70% <i>Urochloa arrecta</i>), and two time points: before and after a fire event.Each row represents a single plant individual, including data on species identity, total, shoot, and root biomass, shoot-to-root ratio, initial propagule weight at planting, and net biomass gain (total biomass minus propagule weight).This dataset can be used to analyze biomass allocation, plant growth responses to fire, and competition dynamics between native and invasive species.
