Data Use: This point layer contains Brownfields and Superfund sites in the City of Dallas from the EPA Geospatial Data Download Service, as of December 14th, 2022. The layer is used to identify areas in the City of Dallas that may pose health risks for those involved in creating urban agriculture projects. The data in this layer was used for a risk analysis on page 101, in the 2023 Comprehensive Urban Agriculture Plan (CUAP), where the sites are calculated as a rate per 10K population within tracts and City Council Districts. The layer is also part of the webmap, COD Social Health UA, which shows the proximity of potentially toxic sites and existing urban agriculture projects.
