The colletion contains a set of data related to the synthesis of rhenium and platinum nanoparticles and their application in the processes of nitroaromatic compounds hydrogenation.The research was carried out within Sonata 16 (UMO-2020/39/D/ST8/01352), and Opus 25 (UMO-2023/49/B/ST8/01029) projects granted by National Science Center (Poland). One of the aims of these projects is to develop new generation of nanocatalysts based on d-block elements nanoparticles for the catalytic hydrogenations.The set of data contains:Raw images and EDX spectra obtained during transmission electron microscopy analysis.UV-Vis spectra recorded during catalytic reductions of 4-nitrophenol, 4-nitroaniline, 2-nitroaniline, 2,4-dinitrophenol, nitrobenzene, and 2,4,6-trinitrophenolXPS spectra (survey and high resolution) of the samples containing metallic nanoparticles
