Phylogenetic trees of Type 4 secretion system subunits. Rickettsiales sequences were used to search the corresponding EggNOG clusters and trees were reconstructed using the Rickettsiales taxa and the EggNOG references. In all trees, deep-branching marine Rickettsiales are monophyletic with the classical Rickettsiales, showing that the T4SS system is an ancient feature of the clade.<br>
