Aboveground biomass is determined non-destructively at permanent, control (non-fertilized) plots in a Spartina alterniflora-dominated salt marsh on Nelson Island near Stackyard Rd in the Parker River NWR within the Plum Island Ecosystems (PIE) LTER site, MA.
