WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from USS THOMAS S. GATES from 1996-02-01 to 1996-02-29 (NCEI Accession 9600027)

The sound velocity data in this accession were collected from USS THOMAS S. GATES between February 1, 1996 and February 29, 1996 by US Navy. The sound velocity in water is analog profiles data that was recorded in stripcharts. Radio logs are forms that contain time, weather latitude/longitude, vessel id, ship id, etc. These are radioed every two hours to some military center. One line per strip chart. Some strip charts have time/date/ship id/latitude/longitude annotated on the strip chart. Three sound velocity stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC by the US Navy, San Diego, CA.
