Prostate cancer is a prevalent malignancy in men, often managed with androgen deprivation therapy (ADT), where Bicalutamide, a nonsteroidal antiandrogen, is frequently utilized as an initial treatment. Despite the efficacy of ADT, a significant number of patients eventually develop resistance to this therapy, leading to the emergence of castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC). Using RNA sequencing technologies, we analyzed the transcriptomic and metabolomic profiles of androgen-dependent prostate cancer LNCaP cells and their bicalutamide-resistant cells (LNCaP-BICA).
