Strait of Georgia Central Conductivity Temperature Depth Deployed 2013-03-04

The Sea-Bird SeaCAT SBE16plus 6935 was deployed on 2013-03-04 at Strait of Georgia Central. Strait of Georgia Central is a central area in the Strait of Georgia. This device is a Conductivity Temperature Depth. Conductivity Temperature Depth (CTD) is an instrument package that contains sensors for measuring the conductivity, temperature, and pressure of seawater. Salinity, sound velocity, depth and density are variables that can be derived from sensor measurements. CTDs can carry additional instruments and sensors such as oxygen sensors, turbidity sensors and fluorometers. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.

海鸟（Sea-Bird）SeaCAT SBE16plus 6935型设备于2013年3月4日部署于乔治亚海峡中部（Strait of Georgia Central）。该区域为乔治亚海峡的核心地带。本设备为温盐深仪（Conductivity Temperature Depth，简称CTD），是一套集成海水电导率、温度与压力传感器的观测仪器组件；基于传感器的实测数据，可衍生得到盐度、声速、水深及海水密度等环境参数。该类CTD设备可搭载额外的观测传感器与仪器，例如溶氧传感器、浊度传感器及荧光计。本次部署将设备搭载于固定式观测平台。本次采集的全部数据均已完成归档，并通过加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada）的Oceans 2.0数字基础设施对外共享，且依据行业通用规范完成了质量保证与衍生数据产品的制作。
