Dataset Direct Download Service (WFS): Noise sectors of the noise classification of land transport infrastructure in the Meuse department (Order n°2011-2612 of 20 December 2011)

In each department, the prefect is responsible for identifying and classifying land transport infrastructure according to its acoustic characteristics and traffic (L. 571-10 of the Environmental Code).
Land transport infrastructure is categorised into 5 categories according to the level of noise they generate, with category 1 being the noisest. A noise-affected area is defined around each classified infrastructure.
On the basis of this census, it shall determine, after consulting the municipalities, the sectors, in the vicinity of these infrastructures, affected by noise, the noise levels to be taken into account and the technical requirements to be applied when constructing a building in order to mitigate exposure to such nuisances. These sectors must be reported in the graphical documents of the Urban Local Plans.
