<b>Organic carbon and lignin parameters in riverbank soils along two major rivers of China</b>

This study analyzed grain size composition, specific surface area (SSA), total OC (TOC), stable carbon isotopic composition (δ¹³C), lignin phenols, and thermal gravimetric properties of riverbank soils from the Changjiang and Huanghe. The overarching objective was to enhance our understanding of the sources, distribution, degradation, and thermal stability of OC and lignin in these two major river systems of China.本研究针对长江（Changjiang）与黄河（Huanghe）的河岸土壤，分析了其粒度组成、比表面积（SSA）、总有机碳（TOC）、稳定碳同位素组成（δ¹³C）、木质素酚类以及热重特性。本研究的总体目标是深化对中国这两大河流体系中有机碳（OC）与木质素的来源、分布、降解过程及热稳定性的认知。
