资源简介:
Objective: The objective of the scoping review is to examine the available evidence on the effects and development process of co-creatively developed digital health interventions (DHIs) to promote mental well-being of informal dementia caregivers that adopt an intersectionality-informed and gender-sensitive perspective. Background: Co-created DHIs take a more needs-based approach and might therefore be more effective in promoting the mental well-being of informal dementia caregivers. The predominant gender disparities in informal care as well as mental well-being when comparing men and women may indicate the need for a more gender-sensitive perspective in co-designing DHIs, potentially reducing the burden of care and strengthening the coping skills of informal carers. However, to date the effects of interventions that adopt an intersectional and gender-sensitive perspective on mental health outcomes is not summarized systematically, and how these perspectives were integrated in the DHI development process is unclear. Eligibility criteria: The scoping review will consider studies including adults of all ages who are informal caregivers of community-dwelling persons living with dementia. Any type of co-created mental health intervention which is digitally delivered via modes such as mobile apps, web-based platforms as well as social media will be included. Methods: Databases searched will include PubMed, Cinahl, PsycInfo, Scopus and Web of Science. The results will be limited to English-language publications without any time limit. The charted data will include specific details about the population, design and methods of the studies as well as key findings related to the review questions. Article titles/abstracts and full texts will be reviewed independently by two reviewers. Any disagreements between the reviewers will be resolved through discussion or an additional reviewer. A narrative summary will accompany the tabulated results and describe how the results relate to the objective and questions of the review. unknown other
