Share of enotourists in Spain 2019-2020, by main travel motive

Wine tourism was the main travel purpose for four in ten enotourists surveyed in Spain between the second half of 2019 and first half of 2020, while leisure travel motivated another 38 percent of respondents. In that same period, the gastronomic experience was reported being the main travel purpose for 6.4 percent of responding wine tourists in Spain.
