The study was carried out in sheep by dividing them into three groups of six animals each. Control group was not supplemented with oil while diet in test group I and II were supplemented with silkworm pupae oil at 2% level in continuous supplementation and intermittent supplementation on alternate week. Impact of oil supplementation and dosing schedule was investigated for the methanogens diversity variation among the groups
