The actual use represents base areas and describes how land is currently being used on site. The actual use is managed as part of the basic database of ALKIS and includes spatial objects, which are divided into the four nationwide uniform object species groups settlement, traffic, vegetation and water bodies. All properties of the object types of actual use are recorded in the ALKIS Object Types Catalogue.
