资源简介:
Stenotrophomonas maltophilia WGB211, a Gram-positive facultatively anaerobic bacterium, is known for its presence in an environment polluted by oil. The current study combined experimental and whole-genome sequencing methods to the ability of strain WGB211 to degrade long-chain alkanes. The strain was isolated from shale oil in Ordos Basin. Additionally, the bacterial genome was sequenced, assembled, and annotated to study its general characteristics, structure, and function. To determine genetic heterogeneity, it was compared with the genomes of other published Stenotrophomonas maltophiliastrains and identified as Stenotrophomonas maltophilia. According to the genomic analysis, the strain contains a chromosome with 4913676bp, 4472 protein-coding genes, 13 rRNA genes, and 75 tRNA genes. Phylogenetic analysis showed that the strain WGB211 had significant gene abundance in amino acid transport and metabolism, transcription, inorganic ion transport and metabolism, energy production and transformation, and signal transduction. Genes related to alkane degradation were identified from the genome.
