This dataset contains 40 entities, half (20) of which are emerging entities and the other half (20) are well-known entities, covering various types including persons, cities, and organizations. Additionally, this dataset is utilized to evaluate methods for extracting and summarizing knowledge about emerging entities from search snippets. Its core task is to capture knowledge regarding emerging entities and their associated entities, with a total of 40 entities evenly split between emerging and well-known categories.
