Investments in SEZs in India 2022

As of December 2022. the Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in India received an investment valued at around 656 billion Indian rupees. This was a significant increase from an investment of around 40 billion in 2006. Special economic zones have geographical areas demarcated to attract foreign investments and propel economic activity, with better infrastructural support from central and state governments.
