The OpenRouteService developed at HeiGIT at Heidelberg University offers a wide range of interfaces in the field of navigation and routing worldwide: Directions, isochrons (accessibility polygons), OD distance matrices, geocoding, POIs, elevation and beautiful map tiles. Our service has some unique features:
— Europe-wide wheelchair routing
— Population statistics for Isochronen
— Rich restrictions that can be used in routing, e.g. vehicle dimensions, avoidable polygons, countries to avoid, etc.
A rich API playground makes development with OpenRouteService very easy and clear. Individual API keys can be generated after a login.
