Long-term climate risk trends in the Mid-Zambezi Biosphere Reserve (MZBR) and their implications for baobab (Adansonia digitata) conservation.

This dataset contains long-term climate data (1984–2024) for the Mid-Zambezi Biosphere Reserve (MZBR), Zimbabwe, extracted from NASA POWER (MERRA-2) reanalysis products. Climate variables include precipitation, minimum and maximum temperature, dew point temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and surface pressure, obtained from twelve spatially randomised sampling locations across the reserve. The dataset was used to analyse historical climate trends and to support ecological modelling of baobab (Adansonia digitata) habitat suitability under current and future (2050) climate scenarios in the Mid-Zambezi Valley.本数据集涵盖津巴布韦赞比西河中部生物圈保护区（Mid-Zambezi Biosphere Reserve，MZBR）1984年至2024年的长期气候数据，数据提取自NASA POWER（MERRA-2）再分析产品。气候变量包含降水量、最低气温、最高气温、露点温度、相对湿度、风速及地表气压，采样点位为保护区内12个空间随机布设的点位。本数据集曾用于分析历史气候趋势，并支持赞比西河中部谷地当前及未来（2050年）气候情景下猴面包树（Adansonia digitata）生境适宜性的生态建模工作。
