The data were collected by an optical time projection chamber (detailed in: https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1748-0221/5/12/P12004). Calibration data are included, where a radioactive alpha-particle emitter was placed inside the chamber. The remainder of the data were collected with beam from the HIGS facility entering the detector to induce nuclear reactions. Typical data files with gamma-beam were acquired over hour-long periods.
During the experiment, the raw digitised data were converted into root format for ease of data analysis. Raw image files of the TPC tracks are also included.
Digitizer and image files are included for beam data and calibration data. Additionally, flux data are also included, which were utilised to measure the intensity of the high energy photon beam. Example analysis codes are provided for analysis of beam, calibration and flux data, and files used within the analysis, such as the theoretical lineshapes of particles moving through the TPC detector are also included. All data and meta-data required to validate any published research outcomes, and to re-perform a separate analysis, are included within this submission.
