Annual reports provide an overview of the work of an agency work during the reporting year. Most reporting years are for the financial year ending 30 June, though earlier twentieth century reports may have been for the calendar year ending 31 December.

年度报告用于概述某一机构在对应报告年度内的工作开展情况。绝大多数报告年度以截至6月30日的财年为周期，不过20世纪早期的部分报告可能采用了截至12月31日的日历年度作为报告周期。
