VPRS 15861 Photo Maps (GRS 546)

This record series is a series of photo maps prepared for the State Rivers and Water Supply Commission. The maps were copied photographically at the Department of Lands and Survey Central Plan Office. The photo maps are of Geelong and surrounding districts. The maps include the names of geographical features such as rivers, creeks, hills, bays and beaches. The maps were prepared by comparison with a cadastral survey. Black and white photography was used. They measure 0.82 X 0.62 metres and have been folded.

本档案系列为州立河流与供水委员会（State Rivers and Water Supply Commission）定制编制的摄影地图集。该批地图于土地与测量局中央规划办公室（Department of Lands and Survey Central Plan Office）通过摄影手段完成复刻，覆盖吉朗（Geelong）及其周边辖区。地图标注包含河流、溪流、山丘、海湾与海滩等各类地理地貌名称，编制过程以地籍测量（cadastral survey）成果为参照进行比对。本次制作采用黑白摄影技术，单幅地图尺寸为0.82×0.62米，且已完成折叠处理。
