Code and data for the results shown in the paper "Satellite-assisted communication with single photon sources and atomic memories". This physics paper presents a setup for space-based quantum networks based on cavity-coupled individually trapped alkali atoms. This hardware has demonstrated the capability of generating atom-photon entanglement, near-deterministic Bell measurements through Rydberg mediated atom-atom interaction, and long-lived qubit states. We show that high-rate entanglement can be achieved over intercontinental distances with orders of magnitude fewer memory modes than previous architecture for similar performance metrics.<br>The dataset includes the Python code for the model presented in the paper, as well as the simulation data used in the figures of the manuscript.<br>Please see the README.txt file for intructions on how to reproduce the figures.
