This dataset contains the processed numerical and experimental data supporting the manuscript entitled “Hydrodynamic Performance and Experimental Validation of a Wire-Driven Bio-Inspired Underwater Vehicle with Fish-Like Propulsion”. The dataset includes grid-independence verification data, cycle-averaged streamwise force data under different oscillation frequencies and body-bending amplitudes, CFD-estimated equilibrium swimming speeds, still-water tank experimental swimming speeds, instantaneous force histories, side-force and yaw-moment data for turning cases, and processed flow-field visualization files. The data are provided to support the tables and main quantitative figures reported in the manuscript.
