Microarray Experiment for Swarnaprabha rice line in low light stress

To further understand the genomics of low light tolerance, Swarnaprabha rice line was subjected to low light or shade stress. The fully emerged panicles were samples at early grain filling stage and microarray was performed from the spikelets. Expression of 12 gene in different pathway were verified using real-time PCR reactions. Two control (normal day night grown) and two test (shade) grown samples were used for the experiment. The samples were prepared from spikelets of two panicles on the mother tillers of individual rice plants.
