Gugak Acoustic Descriptor Corpus: A Segment-Level Resource for Korean Traditional Music Analysis

The Gugak Acoustic Descriptor Corpus (GADC) is a segment-level acoustic descriptor dataset for Korean traditional music analysis. The archive includes segmented audio files, segment-level metadata, acoustic descriptor tables, merged feature–metadata tables, descriptor-derived acoustic orientation profile tables, data dictionaries, validation summaries, figure/table summaries, and a cleaned development notebook.

The segmented audio files included in this archive were generated by dividing source recordings provided by the National Gugak Center, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Republic of Korea, into fixed-length analysis units. These segmented files are derivative research materials created for segment-level acoustic analysis.

The source recordings were identified as materials provided under Type 1 attribution-based public-sector reuse terms in Korea, where applicable. Users who reuse the original or segmented audio files should retain appropriate source attribution and comply with the attribution terms indicated by the source provider.
