ASKAP Data Products for Project AS034 (ASKAP Early Science Broadband Survey): catalogues

We propose to carry out a wideband (approximately 700 -1800 MHz) early science survey in full polarisation mode with at least 12 antennas of the Australian SKA Pathfinder (ASKAP) telescope. We will begin with a small pilot program (starting with a smaller number of telescopes and possibly a smaller bandwidth) in order to test and prepare software required to carry out the full survey. These data will serve the EMU, POSSUM, FLASH and VAST survey teams.

我们提议依托澳大利亚平方公里阵列探路者（Australian SKA Pathfinder, ASKAP）望远镜的至少12台天线，以全极化观测模式开展带宽约700~1800兆赫（MHz）的宽带早期科学巡天。为测试并筹备开展完整巡天所需的软件系统，我们将率先启动一项小型先导项目——初期将采用更少的望远镜台数，或许搭配更窄的观测带宽。本次巡天获取的数据将为EMU、POSSUM、FLASH及VAST巡天团队提供支撑。
