Transcriptome of Human Merkel Cell Carcinoma

Merkel Cell Carcinoma (MCC) is a rare and aggressive skin cancer with poorly understood molecular characteristics. In this study, we conducted RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq) on tumor samples from 9 human MCC patients to unravel the intricate transcriptional landscape of MCC. Data available in dbGaP include bulk RNA sequencing of 9 tumor samples.]]> Inclusion Criteria:Biopsy proven Merkel cell carcinoma. Adequate tissue for banking of fresh-frozen tumor specimen at the time of surgery.Exclusion Criteria:Samples with less than 75% viable tumor cells on histopathological review.]]>
